Got something in your eye? Ouch! We can help with that.
Foreign Body Removal
Almost nothing is more painful than having something in your eye. Dr. Davis can evaluate what is in your eye, or whether it’s actually an injury of some other sort. If she finds something, she may be able to remove it right away and provide a bandage contact lens, eye drops, and other treatment to make you more comfortable.
In some cases, your injury may be more severe. Dr. Davis may refer you to a skilled ophthalmologist to help manage your treatment in these cases.
For followup care, Dr. Davis will examine you periodically to ensure your eye is healing correctly, and manage any additional issues that may arise.
During your regular eye health examination or an emergency exam, Dr. Davis may recommend surgery for cataracts, macular degeneration, or acute injuries. After your surgery, Dr. Davis can continue to perform most of your follow-up care in the Madelia office, so you don’t have to travel as far.
